John is a graduate of the University of Chattanooga with a BS in Business Administration. He is also CEO and Founder of Creative Marketing Strategies. He previously served as National Sports Manager for Coca-Cola USA and Vice President of Communications for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Committee. He was a founding member of the Atlanta Sports Council and Chairman of the Super Bowl Bid Committee. He was a three-time All-Star running running back in semi-pro football and an All-American in TFA/USA track and field.

Currently serving as Vice-President of Economic & Workforce Development at the Conyers Rockdale Economic Development Council. Rita has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University and an MBA in Finance/Strategic Planning from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Steven is an entrepreneur, successful business owner, loving husband, and father of three sons. He hails from Little River, South Carolina, and has currently lived in
Conyers, GA for 15 years. Steven is a Community Servant and believes the greatest thing we can do is serve others.

Teri is the Destination Development Manager for the Conyers Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB). Her 30-plus-year career path has involved providing creative services for various agencies and companies. Teri is responsible for place branding, innovative and trending product development, and promoting places and things to do in Conyers, GA
Kevin Hanna

Kevin Hanna

Kevin serves as President/CEO of the Conyers-Rockdale Economic Development Council. He holds a BA in Economics from Davidson College and an MBA in Finance
from the University of North Carolina. He formerly served as CEO of the Atlanta Development Authority and was Vice President at First Union and Wachovia Banks in
Corporate Lending and Public Finance.
Darlene Hotchkiss

She is a member of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce Board, serving as treasurer and legislative liaison, and is currently a Past Chairperson and chair of Front Porch Discussions, providing an opportunity for elected officials and the community to have an open dialog. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Rockdale
County, where she has served as secretary, public relations director, and multiple
committee chairs.
Craig Johnson

Craig, a seasoned leader, recently finished his term as the 2023 Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce Chairman. He serves on the boards of the Development Authority of Rockdale County and the Conyers-Rockdale Economic Development Council. With a dual degree in Electrical Engineering & Business Management from Ohio University, Craig has spent over twenty years educating young individuals through his ownership of the Kumon Learning Center in Conyers. A former track & field athlete and passionate sports photographer, Craig has a daughter in sports physical therapy and another who earned a full athletic and academic scholarship.
Kameron Kelley, City Manager for Conyers

Kameron serves as City Manager for Conyers, GA. He holds a Bachelor’s of Business. Administration with a concentration in Management from Clayton State University and a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems from Bellevue University. As Chief of Operations, Kameron, is responsible for overseeing the operations of the following departments: Planning and Inspections, Public Relations and Tourism, Public Works and Transportation, the Georgia International Horse Park, and Cherokee Run Golf Club.
Jason Redman

Jason is the former Director of Parks and Recreation and Senior Services for Rockdale County, where he served for 8 years and worked with constituents to help improve their quality of life. He organized, coordinated, and directed the functions and activities of the department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southwestern State University and a Master of Education from Troy University.

Dr. Kechia Seabrooks Rowles is the Director of Athletics/Head Athletic Trainer for Rockdale County Public Schools (RCPS) in Conyers, GA. Rowles works diligently to
ensure all district safety measures and policies adhere to Local, State, and National guidelines. Rowles serves on the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Sports
Medicine Advisory Committee and has earned the distinction of Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA) by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
Andre Thomas

Andre Thomas is Rockdale County’s Post 1 Commissioner’s Constituent Service Liaison. Under general policy direction, he plans, organizes, manages, and directs the day-to-day operations and activities of the Commissioner’s office. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology from Fort Valley State and a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia.
Sherri Washington

Sherri L. Washington was elected to the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners in November 2016 and took office January 1, 2017. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Savannah State University and then obtained her Law Degree from Texas Southern University. Commissioner Washington has lived in Rockdale County for over 20 years and is the proud mother of one daughter, Jasmyne, and one grandson, Kevin.

Yvette Morton Williams is President and Chief Inspiration Officer of a small chain of laundromats whose facilities span several counties in metro Atlanta. Yvette has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University’s School of Business and Industry and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University Stern School of Business.

Katy Zahradnik is Vice President of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce. She will assume the role of Chamber President later this year. She works primarily with programs under Community Development, including Leadership Rockdale, Partners in Education, and Governmental Affairs. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and mother of two sons
