Established in 2023, The Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce formed the Georgia Regional Sports Council (GRSC) to power regional sports in Georgia. This organization will drive economic growth by leveraging sports events, meetings, and conferences. Comprising business, government, and education representatives, the Council ensures diverse perspectives and fosters community engagement.

With a forward-looking approach, GRSC is committed to an ambitious agenda to spearhead the organization and bid for high-profile events in the upcoming years. The Georgia Regional Sports Council’s mission is to be the epicenter for sporting
and special events and to drive economic growth, tourism, recreation, and
entertainment by attracting, hosting, and supporting exceptional sporting events on a national and regional level.
